Google Introduces The YouTubevertorial

Still Searching For A Video Business Model, Google Introduces The YouTubevertorial(October 7, 2008 TechCrunch)

Now it is trying to squeeze more money out of the ads on its homepage and just today it introduced the YouTubevertorial. Starting with music and videogame partners, YouTube will begin inserting click-to-buy links below select videos. Right now, these affiliate links connect to iTunes and Amazon (see them at the bottom of the screenshot above?), but more are coming.

I hear that Google applied the link button for which music and the game can be bought with Amazon and iTunes to the animation of YouTube.

Does this attempt succeed though Google devises the method and the business model who turns out profit with YouTube?

The key in which this attempt succeeds is whether the growing number of companies participates.

Mobage-town: Japan’s Biggest Mobile-Only Social Network(August 16, 2008 TechCrunch)

There is a lot of hype and hope in the U.S. around taking social networks mobile, but mobile social networking is still in the fledgling stages in the West. In Japan, it is already a reality. One company in particular, DeNA , has taken Japan by storm with its mobile SNS/virtual world/gaming platform Mobage-town . DeNA opened a US office in San Mateo earlier this year, with plans to offer an English version of Mobage-town this fall.

Sales of Mobage-town seemed to have decreased for the first time according to news in Japan the other day.

It is thought that sales of Mobage-town decreased because the number of advertisements of the result reward type decreases.

The key to the service of Mobage-town is avatar.

And, to buy the dress etc. of this avatar, a virtual currency “Moba-gold” is being offered.

Moba-gold is a mechanism that it is possible to receive it by the user’s clicking the advertisement of the result reward type, and registering on the site of the advertiser.

The movement of the layer of young people in teens who was collecting Moba-gold having positively clicked the advertisement up to now decreases, and sales of the result reward type advertisement have decreased.

There was news that Mobage-town advanced to PC the other day.

For Mobage-town to advance to PC was to have done to cover sales.

Google’s on and off negotiations with Digg have been back on in a big way for the last six weeks, we’ve heard from multiple sources inside of Google, and the two companies are close to a deal that will bring Digg under the Google News property. The acquisition price is in the $200 million range, says one source.

Digg isn’t familiar with Japanese people.

Therefore, I do not understand the value of digg.com well.

I am surprised by worthy about 200 million dollars according to this news.

If Google will bring Digg under the Google News property, it is sure to become existence known well also in Japan.

However, whether it appears in a name digg as it is is a doubt.

Index Invests In Online Jewelry As The Wealthy Head Online

Index Invests In Online Jewelry As The Wealthy Head Online(June 30, 2008 TechCrunch)

Despite gloomy, credit-crunch market conditions, big spenders continue to do so, and they are doing more of it online in the luxury bracket.

Online luxury players are in a good position, as they can be more nimble and bold than established brands, which are normally afraid of making their cherished brands look cheap by selling them online. In fact, they have badly mis-read their own audience. Forrester’s Consumer Technographics  data says that eight out of ten “high net worth consumers” are hammering the Net with their platinum credit cards faster than I can type this sentence.

According to the article, it seems that Established brands cannot be nimble and bold because they are afraid of the lowering reputation by selling their brands online.

However, more and more luxury people are buying online.

Brands should positively use on-line sales to improve the brand image besides in compliance with the demand of the luxury people.

Potential of multilingual SEO

with one comment

Potential of multilingual SEO

The site for foreign countries will increase on the Web site (especially, shopping site) in the future.

Because if the Web site in Japan doesn’t make the site for the world market, it is no longer widening, then the market will be saturated before long.

The enterprise and the site that makes for the world market are sure to come out in the future.

Then, the Web site will need to be multilingual translated and do best seo.

But,it is necessary not cover all the languages even if it is said “multilingual”.

First of all, it does in order with a lot of internet users.

It is necessary to do the site making matched to  English, Chinese, Korean, Russiana, and European language etc.

The enterprise that serves multilingual SEO in Japan is “Cyber agent”, and “Aung consulting”, etc. now.

Multilingual SEO service and multilingual translation service will be paid attention in the future.

Segway is in the spotlight in Japan.

DSC00565 – burning man 2007 – Kid on Segway
Segway is in the spotlight recently in Japan.
The Segway is used in the golf course and Theme Park.
I hear that the Segway will be used by guarding the airport, the police, and the retail store in foreign countries.

Originally uploaded by loupiote (Old Skool)

However, why is the Segway popular in the golf course?
Because the Segway can run not to damage turf in the golf course.
It was necessary to pass the cart course the current having gotten in a cart.
However, if it is a Segway, it can approach the golf ball by the beeline.

The Segway might become more popular being backed up to the crude oil sudden rise and ecology.
However, it is not possible to run in Japan in the public thoroughfare by the restriction of the Road Traffic Law.
How if it tries to ride the Segway in the golf course and Theme Park?
