Google Analytics, which is what we use at TechCrunch, doesn’t track Chrome usage yet (we’ll see tomorrow after the delay period ends).

Why does not Google Analytics track the usage of Google Chrome?

According to Analytics Japanese version official blog (About Google Chrome and Analytics), the user agent of Google Chrome seems to be as follows.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/525.13 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/0.X.Y.Z Safari/525.13

Therefore, the access from the Google Chrome user merges with the entry of Safari/525.13 and is recorded in the browser report of Google Analytics.

[Update(September 3, 2008 at 5:51 am)]

Now when I confirmed Analytics, it had already been displayed as Chrome.
